Project Scope: This project involved the complete renovation of a detached 1980s family home in Elstree and Borehamwood, transforming a compartmentalized layout into a high-specification modern residence. The centrepieces of the renovation are a substantial rear extension that houses an expansive open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, and a redesigned central hallway that offers seamless access to two reception rooms and the newly integrated underground garage.

Architectural interest is created through intricate brick detailing that breaks up the expansive rear doors with strategically placed rooflights flood the interior with natural light and provide a direct connection to the private garden. The entire home was stripped back and refurbished to an exacting standard, featuring zoned underfloor heating and a complete layout reconfiguration that prioritises spatial flow and contemporary family living.
