Edward Seaman – Director / Architect
BA (Hons), MArch, PGDip, ARB, RIBA
Edward Seaman is a Chartered Architect with over 18 years of experience in the construction industry, qualifying in 2016 after studying at the University of Kent, Canterbury. He has extensive expertise in design, construction management, and site management. For more than a decade, Edward has built and led his own team, delivering projects from concept to completion with high standards and a strong client‑focused approach.
He has in‑depth knowledge of planning policy, building regulations, and technical delivery, and now focuses on providing clear, efficient solutions shaped by his experience. His hands‑on understanding extends beyond the studio; having rebuilt two family homes, he has undertaken full construction work himself. This gives him a rare client‑side perspective, a clear grasp of what homeowners experience during a build, and a practical understanding of what is genuinely achievable.
Outside of work, Edward is a father to his five‑year‑old son. When time allows, he is a keen sportsman and enjoys creative, hands‑on projects and hobbies.
Haritha Raj
Architect (India), Interior Designer, B.Arch, MA.
Haritha has been working at ES Architecture for the past four years. She has been working with a broad spectrum of clients and playing a key role in the delivery of both commercial and residential projects. She brings a strong passion for innovative design, continually exploring new ideas, concepts, and approaches to create thoughtful, contemporary architectural solutions.
Prior to this, Haritha qualified and practiced as an Architect in India, working on a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, industrial, and interior design projects. She also collaborated with high-end clients within the film, music, and wider creative industries, developing a strong design foundation early in her career.
Outside of work Haritha is an artist actively engaged in she’s into theatre, music, dance and illustrations theatre, music, dance, and illustration. She is also a dedicated volleyball and badminton player, and an avid traveller, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures and places.
Alina Kamal
Part 1 Architectural Assistant, Bsc (Hons)
Alina is a Part I Architectural Assistant with a BSc in Architecture from Cardiff University. She is passionate about crafting thoughtful spaces for communities, with a strong eye for detail. Alina enjoys problem-solving and developing design-led solutions that help maximise the potential of homes.
She has developed a particular interest in creating physical models as a way of exploring and communicating design ideas. She carries this creative and technical approach into practice, supporting projects from early design stages through to 3D modelling and visualisation. Alina is also familiar with planning and building regulations, assisting the team from pre-application stages through to planning submission.
Outside of work, Alina enjoys exploring her creativity through travelling, photography, and art.
Vaishnavi Devakar
Part 1 Architectural Assistant, BSc (Hons)
Vaishnavi is a Part I Architectural Assistant and a graduate of Coventry University with a BSc in Architecture. Her design philosophy is deeply rooted in the preservation and evolution of buildings, a passion she explored extensively through her final university project centred on heritage builds.
Since joining the practice, she has translated her interest into professional practice, working on integrating modern architectural needs within heritage contexts. Her architectural journey began at a young age, sparked by a passion for intricate details.
During her spare time, she enjoys travelling and content creation, and has taken on the role within the office, where she manages the practice’s content.
