PHASE ONE – PLANNING
We understand that it can be difficult for clients to fully visualise their finished design once built when only relying on two-dimensional drawings. Therefore, in some of our most recent projects, we have showcased 3D modelling using Virtual Reality software to help our clients fully envisage the finished design. Clients have found that this technology has really helped when making decisions regarding design, structure and layout. This has facilitated improved efficiency and progress through the planning stages. See some examples of our previous models below.
PHASE TWO – BUILDING CONTROL AND TECHNICAL DESIGN
Once planning permission has been granted, we will begin the technical specification for your project and prepare the relevant documentation for submission to building control. We work hard to ensure the final design presents a simple, efficient and cost effective structural solution, with a detailed specifications list of materials, finishes and fixtures.
PHASE THREE – CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION AND CONSTRUCTION
ES Architecture offers Contract Administration as one of our services. If employed to do so, once your drawings have been approved by Building Control and you have found a builder, we will carry out periodic site visits for the duration of the construction of your project – guaranteeing effective site management, health and safety coordination and settling any structural or financial discrepancies that may occur during the build.
